Biography

Guitarist and singer/songwriter Alejandro Jonah Ramirez was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and began singing in front of audiences in school at the age of 5. Two years later, Alejandro’s father showed him a few chords on the guitar and that began his journey.

He learned how to read choral sheet music under a 3-year direction of Bruce Ford during junior high school and performed in front of audiences during that time. He eventually began studying music charts under the direction of Terry Wright in his high school freshman jazz band.

Alejandro has since lead various bands in the southeast Idaho area. He is currently living in Eugene, Oregon and performs regularly with solo groups. Although he no longer lives in Idaho, he continues to perform regularly in his hometown area with the Fox Hollow Blues Band.
